The Story[]
(Told by an old man, a villager of Shroomland)
Son, do you know of the Anomaly? Years ago now, it exploded, causing a rift in the cosmos. Our world, Everthorn, it was back then starkly different from how it is now. My grandfather told me tales of Kings and Queens, Emperors and Presidents, all fighting amongst each other - and for what? Their quarrels ended in nothing.
And he - who was a simple nomad in his time - described the most beautiful structures of their time. Castles taking up entire mountains, surrounded by a city, walled in with think battlements. He told me of the Pharaoh who ruled over his desert island[1]. He spoke about the Elections of Eireann, the only "democracy", whatever that means.
Son, I must tell you, I had a dream. I had a dream that I was there. I saw with my own eyes these people, these structures. I dreamt the sweetest dream I had ever dreamt. I saw things unimaginable to me. And at the end of it all, I saw a massive explosion of green and red and orange and blue and colours I had never even seen before. All to wake up back in my bed.
I believe I dreamt that I was in this world of yore. I believe that I had seen exactly what my Grandfather had lived through. And the strangest thing? I spoke to others about this, and they had described the very same thing... It seems like for one night, we were all transported to the world of yore.
Further Explanation[]
On March 14th, 2023, the server's world was reset back to the Third World, where all of the kingdoms were. This is what the story is talking about. The dream that everyone in the world had, simultaneously, that they were walking around the old world, back in their homes. And then, just as quickly as they were transported to the old world, they were back in the present day.
This short story makes reference to many different towns, kingdoms and lore/historical events that happened. But the key in this story is the Anomaly, which basically made all of this happen when it exploded and caused The Conjunction, an event which merged all three of the old worlds into one.
